Today I’m going to share with you how Dr. Lori Stetler used Restylane Kysse to plump my lips and helped erase the signs of aging. Check out the before and after pictures from Dallas Center for Dermatology and Aesthetics to see the difference. This product is a hyaluronic acid filler just approved for lip injections and I’m already loving the results! Also, Dr Stetler and I are going to be doing an Instagram Live session on July 14 and you don’t want to miss out. Details in today’s blog post.
I have often said that having a good dermatologist is a must. I’ve been seeing Dr. Lori Stetler at Dallas Center for Dermatology and Aesthetics for over 20 years (she is the dermatologist for my entire family). Her staff is incredible and in addition to having Dr. Kristel Polder, they have just added a third doctor to the practice – Dr. Jill Feetham. All three are board certified dermatologists and have an incredible support staff as well. You’ve seen many aesthetic procedures on here including Thermage before and after, Kybella, CoolSculpting and more. They even discovered my skin cancer which is detailed in this blog post. All aesthetic procedures can be found on this page. The page includes injectables, lasers, facials and more.
One of the signs of aging is thinning lips and lines that develop around your mouth. Guess what ladies? Drinking with a straw often contributes to this. UGH! I also hate how your lipstick starts to “bleed” into these small lines outside your lips. Plump, natural lips are always attractive! Restylane Kysse is a new product on the market and Dr. Lori Stetler invited me to try it out. We are showing you the before and after pictures below.
Restylane Kysse has already been available in international markets, but as of May 2020, it’s now approved by the Food and Drug Administration for usage in the United States. Kysse is a hyaluronic acid filler that feels more natural and therefore, looks natural. There is no down time. Dr. Stetler had me come in 30 minutes before my appointment so that she could apply numbing cream to the injection site. The injections are quick and you will leave with an ice pack to help with swelling. My appointment lasted about an hour. Lips actually continue to look better as time passes. My after pictures were taken only one week after procedure. The picture above (white shirt) was shot with my photographer about 4 weeks after I had my lips injected. I am loving the results!
I want to mention that none of the procedures I do at Dallas Center of Dermatology and Aesthetics are permanent. Fillers, peels, laser treatments and injectables are all ways to combat aging while improving your skin. Most of them last around a year to 18 months. I always want to look natural, not overdone and this dermatology office prides themselves on “natural, yet better”. There are lots of choices of fillers. Let your dermatologist help you choose the right product for you.
I highly recommend Restylane Kysse for lip injections and I certainly would encourage you to make an appointment with Dr. Lori Stetler at Dallas Center for Dermatology and Aesthetics. 214.225.0538. Restylane Kysse Before & After Pictures
About Restylane Kysse: Restylane Kysse is a clear injectable gel composed of hyaluronic acid (HA). HA is a naturally occurring sugar, found in the human body. Restylane Kysse is crosslinked with BDDE, an ingredient that helps form a network of HA to provide a gel filler that lasts longer. HA fillers, including Restylane Kysse, contains HA that has been modified to last longer in the body than the naturally occurring HA. Restylane Kysse contains 0.3 % lidocaine to reduce pain during injection.
